518661 2007-01-23 20:47:00 I have trouble downloading information from my bank accounts into MSMoney 2001. I have no trouble on my desktop ( but it's in the computer hospital at the moment), but can't get information into my laptop. When I download information from either of my bank accounts I always end up with 17 entries from Nov 2005. The entry window keeps wanting me to repeat putting the same entries in. I have to press "postpone" option as "cancel" doesn't clear anything. The current bank details do not attach to the end of the 2005 ones. I presume the information does come through as I am asked if I want the programme to open Money on my computer and it does so successfully. Please help.

518662 2007-01-24 06:22:00 I'm not sure if I have understood the problem correctly but are you able to let the transactions be imported into Money as normal?

You'll end end up with duplicate entries but they can be deleted manually.

Cheers.

PS I use Money 2002 and also import my transactions but I haven't come across your problem.

518663 2007-01-24 07:13:00 No. It appears as if transactions have been imported but it is always the same 17 from 2005 and no evidence of current transactions. I've tried importing from accounts from two different banks, still the same result. I have tried to find a where the rogue transactions are, without success. Any suggestions

518664 2007-01-24 07:15:00 Sorry I misread your answer. Yes I have imported them and deleted the duplictes. Makes no difference.

518665 2007-01-24 08:24:00 Hi BL

I just downloaded my latest transactions and updated Money. I then did a search for QIF files (the format I download) and found one in my temp directory under C:\Documents and Settings..... Looking at the date/time of the file, I know it's the one I just downloaded.

I'm just thinking maybe you have an old QIF file (or CSV, TSV or OFX) sitting on your system. If you do find one, see if the date is Nov 05. If so, send it to the Recycle Bin and try downloading again.

Cheers.
