| 518368 | 2007-01-22 11:22:00 | Having heaps of problems tonight with crazy machine. Won't detail symptoms now, as I'm scared it may crash on me again before I finish. Virus scan says I have the above trojan - now supposed to be locked up in avast's chest. Can't get to Google without waiting forever. Similar probs with similar sites, but as I got in here OK this time, can someone please confirm for me that this trojan stays dead (so I can look for other remedies). Or does it return each reboot? And if so, is there a cleaner? Or is it so unlikely to be the problem that I'm wasting time on it? . Please.. |

Use the normal things: ..........shut off system restore, ..........run anti-stuff in Safe Mode, ..........run them again in Safe Mode, ..........run CCleaner then, ..........run a HJT and post for Sir Speedy or Pancake to peruse. |
