| 518290 | 2007-01-22 07:43:00 | Um is Nero installed? If it is u cant just copy it to a cd and put it on the laptop, it wont work. But if u mean the install file is on the desktop, if u CAN copy it to a cd, and finalise it then put it on the laptop it shouldn't be a prob. I take it the Nero on the desktop is what u downloaded?? Not an OEM version you had already and it came with the desktop? Coz an OEM version, even if u copied it to cd and put it on the laptop it will install BUT won't work, since its tied to the burner it came with. Unless u change the serial #. Okay. Tks. Sounded like it would be too easy! Twas already installed when I got it. |

It doesn't really matter whether this is ticked or not. You can turn XP's burning off completely. It's got nothing to do with using another burning program, if ones installed. You'll still be able to use any other burning program to burn whatever to cd or dvd. |
