518536 2007-01-23 08:16:00 I may be missing something very simple here, but for some time now whenever I use the Text Tool I get text in caps whether caps lock is on or not. The Text layer in the Layers Palette still correctly shows caps or lower case, but not the document.

Any ideas?

518538 2007-01-23 08:59:00 Thanks dChip - your screenshot is from the full version of Photoshop. Elements 4 doesn't seem to have those type options. Shortstop (632)

Not on mine. The type font etc is set within the program but the capslock works perfectly normally with me.
Sorry I'm not more helpful but I just don't know what to suggest.
Presume you have tried turning the computer off & on again.

I am using photoshop elements 2 and when I have a photo up ready for working on I click the T in the toolbar and up comes a menu along the top allowing me to choose the type of font and the size of font and whether bold or not.

518543 2007-01-24 08:13:00 Heaton - that's true but NOT whether upper or lower case. Thomas - yes, truied restarts to no avail. May have to try reinstallingbut that's a last resort beacause I don't want to lose settings etc. maybe I'll try emailing Adobe. Shortstop (632)
