518474 2007-01-23 04:58:00 I am using MS Outlook 2003 running on Exchange server.

I have composed some emails to be sent on a later date and time.
i.e after composing email, going thru "View" menu and thru "Options" and ticking "do not deliver before" and specifying date/time

The date/time comes up when they should be going out but the emails remain in outbox and dont get sent. Can someone help with this? This was working before also my mailbox is not full at the time it should have been sent

Thanks for any help

518475 2007-01-23 06:02:00 Ah, isn't that what send at a later date means??

The date hasn't arrived yet, and thats why they're not going anywhere?

Until the date you've specified in Outlook is near?

518478 2007-01-23 20:43:00 I don't use this function very often, but seem to recall that when using Exchange Server, after pressing <Send> the email should move through the Outbox and into your Sent Items, but the email itself would reside on the server until the specified date/time was reached..... Exactly what I was saying. Obviously it wasn't set to be sent yesterday.

Which is why it hasn't gone anywhere yet.

518480 2008-11-04 15:25:00 If you are using MS Outlook 2k3 then check to make sure you are not running in "cached mode". If you are then disable it and this feature should work as intended. SupplePigeon (11813)
