519375 2007-01-26 07:25:00 i have played with thunderbird for a few months now and have decided i do not like it.

is there any way to transfer my in box back to outlook express similar to how thunderbird grabs the inbox from outlook ?

If there is, select it then use the import messages in OE.

519377 2007-01-26 08:00:00 It is not a straight forward process and Outlook Express does not recognise the format that Thunderbird uses. Have a read of this guide here (kb.mozillazine.org(Express)_or_Apple_Mail). Jen (38)
519378 2007-01-26 09:16:00 I've had to do the for someone before. It is a real pain.

I wish all the different email clients could agree on a format that they could all export to & import from, even if it was just a zip file containing a heap of .msg or .eml files (one is Microsot, one is Netscape/Mozilla. I forget which is which).

Went from Thunderbird - Netscape Communicator - Outlook Express - Outlook.

End result, had all the emails and contacts transferred without any problems what soever.
