519352 2007-01-26 20:06:00 thanks for the replys... i have window 2000, and it was fine untill i installed itune....what should i do? ghost90 (11812)
519353 2007-01-26 20:13:00 Try uninstalling Itunes, and see if it blue screen again.

If it does, Itunes isn't the prob. Somehow, I think its something else.

Does it crash when u run Itunes?

Or does it crash, while Itunes is running, and once you connect the Ipod to a USB port, and its being detected?

Or quit Itunes and plug the Ipod in a USB port. Does the system crash?

Are u using the latest version of Itunes?? (7.0.2.16?

519354 2007-01-26 22:25:00 thanks for the reply speedy gonzales... i think my computer crashes when i try to convert my video in to ipod format.... what should i do? ghost90 (11812)
519355 2007-01-26 22:28:00 What program are you using to convert whatever to MP4 format for the Ipod??

Itunes doesn't convert files to MP4 before it transfers, it just transfers MP4 / video files to an Ipod.

And how much ram is installed on this computer?

And whats the speed of the CPU on this PC?

519357 2007-01-26 23:01:00 It could be a driver or the ram in your system is playing up.

Has anything in device manager got an X beside it? Is anything conflicting?

Have u installed something like updated videocard drivers recently??

Or have u installed any drivers from the windowsupdate site recently/ever?

519358 2007-01-27 03:10:00 1. What OS are you running? e.g. Windows 98?
support.microsoft.com

And BTW Win98 doesn't give STOP errors, only Win2K and WInXP.
