1411431 2015-11-15 18:15:00 The computer is an Acer Aspire all in one, Z5610. This computer shuts down once per day, where I need to remove the power cable
and reinsert it where, it will start up again. After restarting the computer, it will continue to run for the rest of the day !

Any thoughts on possible fixes, or things to try to fix it !

Click on All In One / Aspire then the model

1411435 2015-11-15 20:46:00 does it shut down when your are using it
or shut down when its not being used (like a power save/hybernate)

It generally shuts down in the afternoon, but is not always the case.

1411437 2015-11-16 02:59:00 Couple possibilities come to mind;
Could be going to sleep/ Hibernating and not waking up properly, check the power settings to see if it goes into standby after a set amount of time.

could be overheating and shutting down to prevent damage, see if Acer have a monitoring utility or use something like speedfan to see how hot things are getting, could need vents cleaned out or something.

It shuts down when it is in use.

1411439 2015-11-16 06:34:00 It shuts down when it is in use. In the search either from the start or Cortana ( W10) which ever OS you are using type Reli open the Reliability history - see if anything is happening moments before the crash. Eventvwr may give some clues as well.

Knowing what OS would help if its not hardware related.

No, no pattern at all, though mainly happens in the PM, but even that is not strictly true.

I now have Acer involved in tracking down the problem.
