I bought a Windows 8.1 CD two years ago.
I have now upgraded to Windows 10. (all good)

My question is, if ever my hard drive died would I have to buy a new drive and then insert my Windows 8 CD and then upgrade to Windows 10.
Is there a way of making a Windows 10 install CD ?

Or if I wanted to reformat my hard drive.

(I have a SSD C drive and my data is on a physical D drive.)

1410695 2015-10-31 21:12:00 If you've upgraded to Win10 and you activated it, you dont have to reinstall Win8 then 10 again.

You can do a clean install of Win10. And it should activate once you install it and you're online
