1402475 2015-06-11 07:58:00 Just received a slightly rare but not too unusual scam from a PayPal scammer, asking for me to submit etc etc etc to revive or renew my credit/debit card allocation with PayPay. Do you guys usually report this type of phishing/scummy/scamming shizza, or just let natural selection take place? And /or where should I re-send it too...

Isn't it legit? It has no link, and I got one also. And when I sign in to PayPal at the top in my account information it said the same thing.

its legit and the reason i stopped using paypal.

once a year i'd go to use paypal and every year i'd have to give them the information again. completely defeats the point of paypal existing.

1402478 2015-06-11 09:43:00 Quite right too.
Why should you have to tell them the new csc and expiry date the bank has changed on your card. My very word, if a firm with the resources of Paypal can't either guess or work out the new codes, why should you have to do it for them. Tell both the bank and Paypal to smarten up their act; demand they set the csc to xxx, and the expiry date to 1-01-20001 and leave them like that forever. Also, for speedy completion of orders, have them just pay every account immediately, for whatever amount the merchant or service provider sees fit to ask.
Western Union don't need all this fuss, why should the banks and Paypal want so much attention?

Same here. There's better options (without the b***s***) around and personally I use Entropay, a prepay virtual Visa card. Every time I want to use it, I transfer the amount from my local bank, and it's immediately available to use at Entropay. With Visa affiliation, it satisfies the USA vendor suspicions usually surrounding any foreign/alien transactions.

If it was a scam there would be a bogus link to click on.
Its just paypal wanting you to update your CC details. I had the same thing when my card expired .
If in doubt, del the email , login to PP & check your CC status .
