"Conference", meaning a group of teams or a league. When hearing these commentators rabbiting on about this conference and that conference I get the mental impression of teams all huddled together in deep conversation. As Metla says it is an ongoing process, there is no way of stopping it, just lie back and enjoy it :clap I refuse to lie down and think of the queen, or tolerate these Americanism's. |
