1410949 2015-11-04 21:45:00 Looks like something in last nites updates has screwed part of my Win 10 install.
They were .NET 3.5 Feature on demand


Every thing except our inhouse PBX system management programs seems to work but when I open up the databases I get an incompatibility message.
have run system restore which has removed: Lang Pack Feature on demand for X86, Insider HUB feature on demand. I can't see the .Net anywhere to remove that which maybe the offending app.

Short of that It's restore a backup if possible..

1410950 2015-11-04 22:02:00 Just had a look at my win 10 laptop and it has the same three updates and it works fine on the PBX programs so it looks like maybe a rebuild is coming up if the restore doesn't work. maybe I'll go back to Win 7 but as I'm over the month since Win 10 was installed it may not be an option apart from a complete restore from the restore partition.. paulw (1826)

In Bold, that may not be possible either as every W10 I've personally dealt with kills the original restore to factory partition. This has happened when W10 screws up the upgrade install and needs to be reinstalled. wainuitech (129)
1410952 2015-11-05 05:31:00 I did a partial reinstall. It kept all my files but all the Apps were trashed, pity but it did get rid of the problem.. paulw (1826)
