1403794 2015-06-29 03:05:00 I wasn't referring to Shonkey as being one of the idiots......

:) Blimey :p its not like Zip to Call JK Shonkey.

Depends on a persons point of view, some say he's an idiot, some say he's not, mind you that goes for any politician -- Cant trust any of them.

1403795 2015-06-29 03:14:00 I do not consider him an idiot, far from it.
A dangerous psychopath who has too much power, no morals or ethics, who manipulates the media and the sheeple, is what he is.
He may have the majority well fooled, but I'm not buying a word he says.

1403796 2015-06-29 04:09:00 I buy milk powder. $9.99 for 1kg.
More or less $1 litre, bit less as I make it up a bit weaker than it says.

1403797 2015-06-29 06:59:00 You stop buying at the current, won't bring the price down, it will go up sadly because they'll start saying things like theres no demand so they counter it by charging more to offset the lower demand.

It's all about the money.

Cheers,

1403798 2015-06-29 07:16:00 If a politician is involved. there will be either lies or silence. If any executive of a near monopoly is involved there will be lies and misapplied statistics (with decimal points).
If the news media is reporting it, as above, but wrong (and if print media most likely accompanied by an irrelevant photo of something else from a different country, if TV it will feature some airhead "personality" and lots of commercials). If you want news or facts, sorry but you just don't understand what the media is for.

1403801 2015-06-29 21:16:00 It still costs the same to produce 2 litres of milk today as what it cost a year ago, perhaps even more. Gobe1 (6290)
1403802 2015-06-29 23:05:00 Again, how has the price of milk got anything to do with the government ?
The Nats dont set the price of milk.

Fonterra was a Govt created organization formed to make NZ more competitive on the export market I believe. That the Govt allowed a near monopoly to be created is why people hold them answerable. That and some people like blaming the Govt :p
