So why hammer the Govt & JKey over it Stoping buying the stuff at the current and the price will drop . Simple . Private businesses can charge what they want . Dont like it, dont buy it . Just how much milk do you really need per week ? Then start whinging about all the dairy farmers going bankrupt and selling farms to Asians . Im happy to pay an extra 50c-$1 a litre if it helps keeps farmers in business . Is milk really now so unaffordable ? Let them eat cake instead :) |

| 1403789 | 2015-06-29 01:25:00 | It will be NZ pricing being used to prop up farmers , who are suffering due to drops in int prices. Think of it as a subsidy, laborites love subsidies, so shouldnt be an issue at all. I call your banana and raise to 3 bananas :banana:banana:banana |

As per the article Now the international price has dropped by half ... you would expect our milk price to go down, but it's actually gone up." The Government needed to front up and explain why New Zealand milk prices were still high when in Australia and the UK they had dropped by 16 per cent How do you read that ? And there is nothing to look up, its a your own statement that says its different ? |
