520079 2007-01-28 22:55:00 Whats the URL, I can't see any mention of it rogerp (6864)
520080 2007-01-28 22:56:00 Can we have the website URL for that competition to see for ourselves.

You do realise there are plenty of dodgy Microsoft giveaway hoaxes around, so it would be very wise to check out the validity of the competition before entering in any personal details.

520081 2007-01-29 01:32:00 The Windows vista / office 2007 give-away competition in this months feb 2007 pcworld uses javascript to check form elements that no longer exist. Maybe this is a not so subtle hint that we need to configure a more secure web browser - I managed to submit my entry by making my web browser more secure temporarily. See pages 46-47 of that issue for the details and www.pcworld.co.nz for comp (magazine purchase required to claim) pcmybad (11828)
520082 2007-01-29 02:04:00 Ah, THAT giveaway. I don't have my Feb issue yet. Safe to assume that website isn't dodgy. :p

I see what you mean as I get the same javascript error about missing the address under two different (non-IE) browsers. :illogical

I will drop a message to the powers-that-be.

520084 2007-01-29 02:20:00 It must be dodgy if it is a PC World giveaway:p winmacguy (3367)
520085 2007-01-29 02:22:00 By the way, I've just subscribed to PCW - how do i find out whether they will send my magazine (and NOD32)? Got the confirmation email, nothing since

Get the same thing with Opera. Will give the M$ giveaway what it deserves.. Not using IE just to enter a PCWorld competition

520087 2007-01-29 04:50:00 It doesn't appear to like my IE7 though either....

Keeps asking to fill in my address when it's already filled in
