| 520053 | 2007-02-06 04:58:00 | I'm going to cry. I'm REALLY going to cry. After all this cr*p we (yes, you and me) had to go through, and the answer was sooooo simple. My IT friend checked everything on my PC and then on the One Who Is P*ssed Off's lappie, and saw that both had the same problem. Rebooted Router/Modem after going back to standard router settings - no change. Totally reinstalled router software (with the wizard, even I could have done it) - success. Sooooo, it wuz not me, it was the software again. Jen, I know you've got a similar router than me - if you get funny problems that can't be explained - take note, just reinstall. | 520054 | 2007-02-06 07:11:00 | Glad to see you got it sorted in the end. :) I never had to install software to use my Dynalink ADSL modem. Just plug and go. Didn't even realise you had to for the modern OS's. I guess it was required for your wireless setup? |
