I've just pulled a HD out of an ipod and installed it into a tiny 1.8inc external HD case. Plugged it into my Comp (XP Pro) via USB 2 and it lights up green (okay i guess). XP does not see the drive tho. Any ideas on how I can find or format the drive? Thanks in advance |

Control Panel -> Administrative Tools - Computer Managment
then look in the "Disk Management" section under storage. |

Tried that, on my lappy, it shows as a drive, right click on it and all it offers is "help". On my XP machines at work, the drive does not appear at all. |
