In Windows Explorer my files keep coming up as icons and when I change them to details they only stay like that until the next time I need them, and then they are back to icons. How do I make them permanent? Also is there a utility that will help me to tidy up other stuff on XP such as the the dog that helps me with searches? Thanks for any help with this....Ken |

| 520675 | 2007-01-30 10:32:00 | Use ccleaner (www.ccleaner.com) to clean the crap off the hdd. And use Spybot (www.spybot.info) To check for spyware etc. And get the detection updates too. Ccleaner will clean the hdd and the info under run/search. |

Thanks for any help with this....Ken For the folder problem, set things the way you want them in explorer then at the top click on tools, folder options then select the view tab and click on the apply to all folders button.
