I would stick with XP IF you want everything to work like drivers etc.

At least they work in XP

In another thread you comment that you've never used Vista yet here you as saying that it doesn't have good driver support? I think you'll find that driver support under vista is fine .

Trying to run a 10 year old application in Vista probably isn't the best idea, but driver support has nothing to do with it . As was said earlier DOSbox is probably the best solution and thats fine under Vista .

520725 2008-09-08 21:46:00 We have tried NZAGold v7 on vista and it works except for the front menu buttons and the printing reports and invoices. We have an update disk for V8 which seems to work properly but we need a new licence number for the upgrade. Does anyone have a licence they want to sell (or give away) for the later version or know where we can buy it??? We need the job cost module in particular. Cheers dairyman21 (11835)

Perhaps starting a new thread would be a better idea? Bumping an ancient thread from last year means far fewer people will see your post.

520727 2008-09-08 22:39:00 You cannot get a new license against such an old product, your only option would be to find someone willing to sell/give you there license and then you would need to have all the details changed to yourself to have a key generated for your use.

You can get the key from this number if you get that far.

520729 2008-09-08 23:58:00 A cashbook with a jobs module? DeSade (984)
520730 2008-09-09 05:10:00 It has 5 modules GL CB CR DR and JC but we are only using job cost creditors and debtors. Thanks for the 0800 number, this goes to MYOB sales who say you can't get new licence numbers and they suggest MYOB Plus will handle jobs for creitor invoices and time allocations of staff. Cheers dairyman21 (11835)
520731 2008-09-09 11:12:00 If the other programs cannot handle negative stock WRITE to the vendor and ask them to add the option to allow for negative stock.
If enough of you ask for it they will do it.
Next time you upgrade, DONT... buy a program that allows for negative stock.
Software vendors do listen to clients!!!
