Just wondering what I can do to prevent this.. Ive tried different modem/routers changed every cable and filter..

Heres what i mean by a spastic fit..

521834 2007-02-02 05:49:00 Yeah I had exactly the same problem with the same modem. I thought it was the modem for a while and RMA'd one. That didn't help. In the end I called Telecom's line faults number and spoke to a technician. Make sure you get a case number. I explained the problem to him and told him my connection was too unstable to use and asked if they could reduce my connection speed. He said no but promised to look into it. Shortly after that my connection stabilized. I have no idea what they did but they can fix it from their end. It knocked almost 2 Megabits off my connection speed but with the speed things run at the moment it made no difference to usability. I hope that helps. That problem drove me crazy for weeks.
