522011 2007-02-02 23:02:00 Well I don't use AVG I use Avast Pro (not the free version) and Comodo.

Thats all I use.
Speedy Gonzales (78)
522012 2007-02-02 23:17:00 So I should just go for Comodo and get rid of Norton? --Wolf-- (128)
522013 2007-02-02 23:20:00 Also, I've seen other people doing this, so why not:

522014 2007-02-02 23:23:00 I would recommend Zonealarm, but I think in order to use extra features in it, you have to pay for it / register it.

According to download.com the free version of Zonealarm has No limitations, but I am still using 6.1 version Zonealarm, so I am not too sure about if the lasted version if it the same as 6.1

WolfForest22 you can get the free version of Zonealarm here: www.download.com

522015 2007-02-02 23:24:00 Up to you as I said anything is better than Nortons .

At least Comodo is free . Once u get the code to activate it in your email .

And its only a 7 . 68 mb install .

And get AVG or Avast Home one of the free versions of the AV .

And something like Spybot / Ad-aware to help get rid of Spyware etc .

522016 2007-02-02 23:26:00 According to download.com the free version of Zonealarm has No limitations.

Have you paid for it / registered it yet?? if not, can u see the option for ICS in it??

It may not have limitations, but the versions I did use didn't have the ICS option in them, until u registered.
Speedy Gonzales (78)
522017 2007-02-02 23:30:00 So in all...you recommend.....?

I would recommend AVG for AntiVirus & Zonealarm for the firewall, & Then Spybot / Ad-aware to check that you don’t have any Spyware / Ad-aware.

522018 2007-02-02 23:36:00 Have you paid for it / registered it yet??

What version are we talking about here the new version or 6 . 1?

If you’re talking about 6 . 1, yes I have registered it

if not, can u see the option for ICS in it??

Even it been registered, I cant say I have seen anything about ICS (Part from I am only using it on my laptop for when I use wifi & dialup), so I cant say about ICS, sorry about that :o
stu161204 (123)
522019 2007-02-02 23:37:00 That log looks ok but u can run HJT again tick these entries and tick fix checked.

Close browsers and unzip the HJT file, put it in its own folder before u run it again.

Any version. I wouldn't know now, since I don't use it.

You wouldn't worry about ICS unless you're networked....
