521946 2007-02-02 20:05:00 Its NOT where IE6 stores them, that is in Doc & Settings - User Name - Local Settings - Temp - Temp Internet Files

Ive a Downloaded Falsh movie, I know is in MY PC somewhere, as it plays when the PC is disconnected from the Net, but for the life of me I cant locate it.

Finally, how can I get Win Explorer to seacrh for files in the Temp Internet Files folder.

Thanks..........John in Mosgiel.

521947 2007-02-02 20:07:00 Open up Windows Explorer on your computer . Click on Tools>Folder Options> Once the pop up shows up, click on the 'View' tab, and scroll down a bit . You'll see an option checked, that reads "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" . Uncheck that puppy .

Then you can do your normal routine of going to a user profile in Documents and Settings, look in the "Local Settings" folder (which is hidden and you may have to unhide those folders), and BAM! There it is .

Since it is enabled on your computer, and you are a domain admin (I assume), you can now do your Start>Run> and type \\networkpc\c$ and traverse to the culprits computer .

521949 2007-02-02 21:08:00 Thanks for that, ive located the tutorial file I downloaded.

About Opera 9, does it store its files in the same Folder path, or somewhere else. I know there are two other tutorial files on my PC, two I downloaded with Opera 9, but cant locate them in the Hdrive, they dont appear to be in the file path mentioned above.

Thanks

John.
