The log hasn't got anything nasty in it . I would also install a firewall . Is this the main computer, why its running wireless?? Or is this computer networked to another computer using wireless? Or are you using ethernet as well?? Whats slow? Booting / running programs etc, or when you're on the Internet as well? Try ccleaner (www . ccleaner . com) as well, it'll get rid of temp files etc . 521685	2007-02-03 20:52:00	Thank you for your help:) I did everything you said. It is still running slow. I am wireless because this is a laptop. I do seem to have a problem with syware and malware. I run spybot and adaware all the time and they both detect alot of problems each time. I have windows firewall on but adaware keeps telling me its been disabled. I have 512 mb of ram, Not the best but its never run this slow before. Thank you so much (again) for all your help:)	j2christy (11849)
521686	2007-02-03 20:59:00	Oh and forget to add that everything is slower. Starting up takes forever, shut down is not as bad but still pretty slow. Starting a new program or opening anything is slow. Actually surfing the net is still ok.	j2christy (11849)
