Not revolutionary, but just one of "those" little features which makes switching windows more interesting.

I seriously doubt there'll be any groundbreaking new features emerging in the next 6 months or so - maybe security patches, or compatibility patches. Unless you're a Microsoft employee and have some kind of insider knowledge that you would like to share?

Stuff like Dreamscene (animated desktop backgrounds) is, if that's what you want.

The main reason for may people moving to vista really is the significant security improvement, and tight integration of search.

well I absolutely hate this sort of stuff. I want a plain do nothing O/S.

Wheres the version for those who are forced to use it due to DX10 and the (eventual) no drivers etc for anything else, but don't want all the crap?
