522848 2007-02-06 08:54:00 Comfort and style come before speed (For me anyway)

In fact, I was just looking at roughly a $90 - $100 keyboard, why? Because it lights up blue in the dark. (www.saitek.com)

So does this (www.edencomputers.co.nz)

And its under $40.00

Its what I'm using now.

522849 2007-02-06 09:03:00 That looks extremely budget compared to the one I want. --Wolf-- (128)
522850 2007-02-06 09:57:00 yea well i got higher specs! but if you're on a tight budget why get an expensive case?

plod, i thought u meant he was on a budget, rather than me being budget

and i wouldn't mind a backlit keyboard, i'll just throw it on the student loan eh?

Forget Vista.
Get an OEM XP home.
That will get you closer to budget.

A new budget computer plus Vista. Scares the daylight out of me.:2cents:

522852 2007-02-06 23:54:00 XP Home OEM = $123.22 + GST
Vista Premium OEM = $139.77 + GST

Not a huge saving if he goes back to XP.

Seagate 80GB SATAII 8MB = $69.94 + GST
Seagate 160GB SATAII 8MB = $90.66 + GST
Seagate 200GB SATAII 8MB = $110.32 + GST
Seagate 250GB SATAII 16MB = $118.30 + GST
Seagate 320GB SATAII 16MB = $152.48 + GST
Seagate 400GB SATAII 16MB = $203.36 + GST

That makes the 250GB the sweet spot in my mind.
