523002 2007-02-05 23:10:00 Well? Does anybody know? Parents are still in the Outlook Express.....and they need the mails in it. I will upgrade to Vista tomorrow, but I need to know how to transfer Outlook mails to Windows Mail.

Can anyone tell me?

Just copy the files from your Outlook Express store directory.

Right click in Outlook Express the folders you want to copy and choose Properties, it should show where the DBX folder is stored.

523005 2007-02-06 00:50:00 This worked for me maybe it might for you go to C program files and look for outlook express and then click on the wab icon that is where your address book contacts are.

Then go select all copy and if you have one paste them into a usb flashdrive.

Go to vista C drive program files and click on windows mail then click on wab transfer them off your flashdrive edit select all windows mail wab edit paste.

hope this works and hope this helps.

523007 2007-02-06 07:07:00 The wab file is only the address book, it does not contain any e-mails. Its the transfer of e-mails that was requested here. I successfully and unsuccessfully tranferred e-mails in the past, its a bit of a pain borax (7078)
523008 2007-02-06 08:36:00 I can do it between Outlook to Outlook, but never Outlook to Windows mail. qazwsxokmijn (102)
