| 522867 | 2007-02-05 04:53:00 | I have a wireless US Robotics router 9108 which has a built-in USB port print server. I have connected a HP LJ 1100 (of course coverted from parallel port to usb) to the print server port. I am having problem getting the router to detect the printer. Does anyone know why? I have read about Internet Printing Protocal and I dont to have that in my OS, XP:confused: Home. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. | Taurus (9579) | ||

So you're saying that the printer doesn't have USB built in so you have used an adapter to change LPT port to USB? Don't know if this will work. Have a look in the wireless print server web config pages. It show in there somewhere that a printer is connected and it should give you the model number. If not then your PC won't be able to print to it. |
