522781 2007-02-05 04:11:00 why does comodo firewall doesnt start on start up? its not even on the ms config startup list..what should i do to start it up automatically so that my pc wont say "no firewall is turned on"? jonkimnicko (10061)
522782 2007-02-05 04:54:00 It does, I run it, works fine.

Try reinstalling it or even worst case... add it to the startup items

522783 2007-02-05 08:23:00 Works fine on my wife's laptop. Had to use it as Zone Alarm would not install for some reason. There should be an option to have it start when your PC boots up - maybe you ticked the wrong box, or forgot to tick the "start on boot up" when you installed it. Strommer (42)

522786 2007-02-05 19:54:00 how would i add it to start up items? Navigate to My Computer>C Drive>Docs and Settings>All Users>Start Menu>Programs>Startup.

Now navigate to (in another window) My Computer>C Drive>Program Files>Comodo>Firewall and right click on cpf.exe create shortcut. Then drag that shortcut ove to the startup items in the other window, rename the shortcut to take out the "shortcut to"

Done.
