| 523832 | 2007-02-08 08:57:00 | Helping out a friend. She has XP Pro installed - single user so for last 2 years has not had a logon screen. Now gets a screen asking her to logon. It will accept either her user name with no password or administrator with the correct password, but immediately goes to "saving settings" and logs off. we cant get past this, any suggestions? I'm reluctant to do a reinstall unless it is essential as their is a lot of software that will need reloading plus data files. thanks in advance! |
