523744 2007-02-08 04:01:00 I have a Palm LifeDrive that runs OS. I can open the ihug homepage, but as soon as I click onto Webmail (so I can logon and retrieve e-mails) the PDA crashes. Palm says it's because there are Macromedia and Flash on the login page, and most moble devices can not access a page when these are present. However, ihug says there is nothing on the login page that is not present on the home page??? They also say that at this stage they do not have a moble version (WAP) of their site.... (so much for an inovative and progressive company who are owned by Vodafone - the mobile provider). Anyway, it has been suggested (by Palm) that I try and locate a "third party" application etc that allows you to access web pages that contain Macromedia/Flash etc. OR, maybe there is something similar to a codex (as in those that allow you to play certain video files) that can be added to the application on my Pal LifeDrive that allows me to access the net (called palmOne Blazer v4.1). Can someone help please, or can you suggest a forum that deals specifically with PDA's and/or OS etc... Thanks, Aporosa (5671)
523745 2007-02-08 04:07:00 Well the easiest thing to do, is to do a search in google or yahoo, for pda / palm forums.

Or go to the Palm site and see if there's any forums there.

523746 2007-02-08 09:34:00 I had a similar problem with Opera Mini crashing on my Treo 650.

Problem was I needed to install Java Virtual Machine on the Palm and increase the Memory Maximum and Maximum Java Thread Stack Size in Preferences.

I'm not saying this is what your problem is, but it might be worth looking at....

523747 2007-02-08 09:39:00 I can get to ihug.co.nz and successfully see the username/password fields OK using Blazer on my Treo. Unfortunately can't log in 'cos I'm not a customer... :( johcar (6283)
