| 523984 | 2007-02-08 21:49:00 | Hi, please help. My old neighbour has a computer with window Xp. Its activation is expired. So now whenever he turns his computer, it go thru the login process. After that, a message say he need to activate his window. He presses yes, it bring him to his desktop with no icons what so ever(not even the start menu). But an empty box appears on the screen with the heading saying Activate Window with no buttons or anything. He said it started when he had Mozilla Firefox installed. Does this program need activation? By pressing "Window Key + u", I somehow managed to uninstalled Mozilla, but problem still the same. I have tried a system restore. I have tried log in safe mode and uninstalled mozilla in the administrator account. Please advise what else can I do or is it doom? Thank you. |
