| 523949 | 2007-02-14 22:19:00 | Ok guys, Ive taken aboard all your suggestions and will follow them up. In the meantime, a mate has bought a simulator that supposedly Brock & Murphy practised in years ago. It came with some software called Race Driver V8 Super Cars which works fine using the keyboard of the computer. However, it doesnt seem to have any drivers to interface the steering wheel and pedals with the computer. Question 1: Do these Wheels and Pedals have generic drivers or does each device have its own special drivers? There is no logo or clues as to manufacturer anywhere on the controls. Question 2: The cord between simulator and computer has a cord with 3 plugs on the end. Looking at the Insulating tape Id say this is some sort of jack-up. Anyway, one plug is of the LPT1 variety, one is of Keyboard variety and one is of game-port variety. I imagine you would choose which one to use, as opposed to connecting them all, although I stand to be corrected there. Any thoughts on the connection method? :help: |
