524920 2007-02-15 07:13:00 I recently bought a DKU-5 connectivity cable, however the PC Suite won't detect either the 3105 or the 6225 phones we have, however both Windows XP systems detect the cable. The phones say that the data connection was ended. PC Suite is version 6.82.22.0. pcuser42 (130)

When you got the cable did you also get the driver CD with it.

524922 2007-02-15 09:20:00 I don't have either of these models, but I have a suggestion. When you plug the connector into your phone, the phone will detect the cable (if the cable is also connected to the PC). The phone will ask you something like "Accept connection"... I can't remember the exact prompt because I don't have the cable handy. You actually have to answer "reject" not "accept"! If you choose "accept", the phone will appear as a removable HDD and not synchronise with Nokia PC suite.

If this answers your question, or you find the answer elsewhere, don't forget to post the resolution here.

524923 2007-02-16 03:13:00 The phones just say Ready for data, not whether to accept the connection or not. pcuser42 (130)
524924 2007-02-16 06:45:00 Okay, so we tried a hundred more times (well that's what it seemed like) and both phones say the same thing over and over - 'Ready for data', then immediatly afterwards 'Data connection ended' - which means that the cable was disconnected. If that's not the case, the phone is fine, but PC Suite does nothing in the Connection Wizard. We'll try replacing the cable with DKU-2 instead. pcuser42 (130)
