524888 2007-02-15 04:14:00 Hi Everyone, Ok my brain is officially fried..... Can anyone help me please....

I want to buy a budget low end graphics card for my P4 1.6ghz pc. I want to get at least 128mb and I want to plug into my TV 100htz, my tv has rca, svideo, component in plugs. I will mostly play Avi's and surf the internet a little and play the odd flight sim game.

Can anyone sudgest some models I need to look at ?

Thanks

You may need something better than 128mb, if the games are pretty graphic.

Just make sure you get the right card for whatever slot you're putting it in.

A P4 1.6 GHz sounds like it would be an AGP card, dont know what speed though.

Yes it is AGP.. Its a Compaq D300 and the manual says 32mb GF2 is a upgrade, I thought the bigger the mbs the more the card can handle ?. Am I limmited to the size card I can fit ?. I have no trouble playing videos and music etc through the pc. With the dpi increased to 150 and the resolution set at 800x600, Extra large fonts and Icons, with visual Styles on the right colour (Green & Black etc) the picture is pretty sweet.. It certainly has a bit of wow factor. Probably the only thing I want to do with the card is make the graphics a bit smoother for flight sims etc.. like MSFL 2002 etc..
