524867 2007-02-15 03:59:00 We have installed an iomega rev drive into a server to do backups but.... It doesn't release the disks - not until we reboot the server. OS MS Server 2003.
Reformatting the disk is destroying them - this is a very worrying introduction to this product.
To overcome the suspicion that it is the supplied Brightstor program we are running our own script to just do a simple copy back up till we can find a solution. This worked for a while now it has resumed 'holding' the disks.
Can anyone offer other clues - we have downloaded all updates and re-installed and (more especially strange) read and followed all the instructions.
