525268 2007-02-16 20:42:00 Yesterday I put a new HDD into my computer. Now when I restart the PC it freezes on the POST page. It only happens when I restart (if I shutdown and turn on straight away it doesn't happen, and it doesn't happen at normal bootup). I suspect it might be my power-supply (350w), but why would it only happen on a restart? And it's not every time - probably 50%.

If u put in a second hdd, did u jumper it to Slave??

Thats if its an IDE hdd.

HDD is number 3. First two drives (Master and Slave) are IDE. New drive is SATA. Everything seems to be working fine - no issues with using the computer etc., just occasionally when I restart. I wonder if I have set something incorrectly in the BIOS?
