| 525268 | 2007-02-16 20:42:00 | Yesterday I put a new HDD into my computer. Now when I restart the PC it freezes on the POST page. It only happens when I restart (if I shutdown and turn on straight away it doesn't happen, and it doesn't happen at normal bootup). I suspect it might be my power-supply (350w), but why would it only happen on a restart? And it's not every time - probably 50%. Mike. |

Thats if its an IDE hdd.Sorry, not enough info again :) HDD is number 3. First two drives (Master and Slave) are IDE. New drive is SATA. Everything seems to be working fine - no issues with using the computer etc., just occasionally when I restart. I wonder if I have set something incorrectly in the BIOS? Mike. |
