| 526043 | 2007-02-19 22:57:00 | Hi there, I have partitioned my USB device to have a boot partition and a data partition. Both are primary partitions and the boot partition is the second partition and is marked active. I can happily boot from the USB device and use fdisk to see both partitions and can copy from one partition to the other when booted into DOS off the device. Is there any way I can view the boot partition in windows explorer? It is FAT 16. I can see the partition in disk management, but can't assign a drive letter to it, I get the error "partition or volume is not enabled". Is there any software that may be able to help me explore the boot partition from windows? Cheers |

| 526047 | 2007-03-15 22:56:00 | Is it a hidden partition? If so, that will explain why you cant assign a drive letter and why windows cant see it. |
