| 525495 | 2007-02-18 03:09:00 | Could someone please explain how to change the File Icon in XP Explorer? I believe it's something to do with Tools-Folder Options-File Types. However I get into an endless Loop. The Files are mp3's and I want to play them in Winamp and have them use a particular (Winamp) icon. In order to change the Icon, it seems you need the lower button in the 'Details for' section to be on Advanced. Then you're able to get to the Edit File Type dialog and 'Change Icon'. The problem is, after that they won't play in Winamp. If you now try to associate mp3s with Winamp, the "Advanced" button changes to "Restore" and although they play, they all switch to the wrong icon. What am I doing wrong? Any help appreciated. Thanks - Kirk |
