| 525461 | 2007-02-17 23:25:00 | Hi Everybody, I am trying reinstall the os on an Acer Aspire SA80, which appears to have become corrupted after a crash (Power Outage) It has a sata160 gb drive configured with 3 partitions to enable system recovery. The drive came preinstalled with XP Media Centre. After the crash all partitons were corrupted so was unable to use recovery cd. Reformatted partitons and tried to reinstall os but fails at about 17% with unable to copy files, have tried to reinstall win 98, and w2k with same result. I have tried 2 different Hard Drives with same result. Looking on Acer website does not really help. Never had a problem like this before. |
