This is something I don't have since I am using 2000. So if you get the same email, and you and your partner is the same recipient. When Outlook checks for email for Caffy, its in her inbox. When it checks for new mail for your partner's it will be in his inbox. This is probably a feature you need and can use in 2003. At the end of the day you have one copy in Caffy's and one copy in your partner's. That is what I had set up at the start and there was only ONE inbox, not two. And our emails got downloaded to that one inbox, getting mixed up. That's when i then came to PressF1... am I missing something as to how to set up two inboxes? |

| 525837 | 2007-02-21 10:09:00 | You can make two shortcuts on the desktop, point each to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /profile profilename Loads the specified profile. If your profile name contains a space, enclose the profile name in quotation marks ("). or just one shortcut "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /profiles Opens the Choose Profile dialog box regardless of the Options setting on the Tools menu. I used the address above but it said it does not exist, so how do I find out what the path is for Outlook? |

| 525838 | 2007-02-21 10:13:00 | Caffy, Ok. I just checked my Outlook 2000 so your one would sure be able to do it. Swapping email software can be a hassle. In outlook with the rules wizard. You can set it up, so it checks for which email account - not the sender's email addy and not the recipient's email addy (your's or your partner's). For example. Set up Outlook so .. you have 2 accounts. Let's say you have caffy@xtra email. You also have partner@xtra email. Someone sends the same email and Caffy gets one and Partner gets one. Set up a rule. When it checks for Caffy's email account you get that email. Set up a rule so it gets moved to Caffy's folder. Immediately after it checks your 2nd email account - the Partner's, he gets an email and too. Get the same rule so it gets moved to Partner's folder. At the end of the day you have 2 folders, one for each person and even if the email was sent to you both, each will have a copy of that email. Because Outlook does not check for recipient's email address or sender's email address. It checks for which email account defined in Outlook. Because Outlook checks for Caffy's email account downloads everything and pop everything into her folder. Then it starts again and checks for Partner's email account and moves everything into his account. It checks for 2 physical email address you can say. Rather than the recipient name. |

| 525839 | 2007-02-21 10:24:00 | This is how I set mine up. Apply this rule after message arrives. when received through the "XXXX" account. move it to the XXXX folder. Apply this rule after message arrives. when received through the YYYY account move it to the YYYY folder When you can choose your account. It is not an email address it is the account that you have set up with Outlook. If you both have the same email, then each folder will have a copy of that email. |
