| 526039 | 2007-02-19 23:20:00 | Hi Is anyone with one of these phones having problems synchronising with your PC? I have had no problems until today, but now the SE sync software stops part way through and gives an error message in the log 'No connection - Lost connection with the device'. The phone simply says 'Failed' or something to that effect. I get a partial sync of Contacts, but nothing in the Calendar. I have tried: 1. re-installing the PC Suite software 2. checked the SonyEricsson website, but there is no FAQ or other info there on this problem. 3. cradle sync, sync through the USB cable without the cradle, swapping the cable over from one USB port to another, re-booting, turning off antivirus software etc one after another. Nothing seems to work. I have tried the SIM in a Treo which hotsyncs fine, so the problem does not appear to be with the SIM. The only thing I wonder about is that this has only happened since the last raft of Microsoft patches were installed on the PC. I haven't tried a System Restore yet, but I guess that is a possible solution. However, I would like to know if any others are finding this problem since updating Windows/Office recently.
