I tried to install the Beta version and it was not successful so gave up. The PC World cd version says it will not upgrade the beta version and closes off. I must have something in the registry indicating a previous install. Any pointers on what to look for? There is no MS 2007 beta listed in add remove programs |

The full version has been released - buy that or use the latest PC World CD. |

If you already have a beta version installed, make sure you remove EVERYTHING that's including all Office 2007 addons. |

Sorry did not make myself clear - I cannot uninstall the first Beta Office 2007 (#1 install) as it did not install correctly and I can't find an uninstall, either on the hard drive or in Control Panel. I am trying to install the PCWorld copy (#2 install) from the cd when I get this error message about not being able to upgrade. Where can I find an entry for Beta install #1 in the registry so I can delete it and install #2 version |
