If you care to open PressF1, cl on FAQ, scroll down to "Press F1 FAQ's etc, cl on FAQ # 101, scroll down to 8a) last para, perhaps you could advise how a green horn would be able to find the FAQ's listed. |

Ah. I had done all you suggested but didn't scroll down far enough to the last paragraph of 8a). :rolleyes: You are correct, that FAQ definitely needs updating but Bruce is a busy man. It is interesting that you were looking in that particular FAQ for a computer maintenance FAQ as if you had stayed on this page (www.pressf1.co.nz) and clicked on the second entry, "FAQ F1 - the unofficial PressF1 FAQ resource" you would have found the FAQs. Seems you probably did do just that since you got there in the end. |

As there was no entry for a FAQ on Computer Basic Maintenance used FAQ #101 as it's title was "How to get Effective Help on PF1",no FAQ 1b, then went fishing to the second entry you quote and found the site I quoted . The main thing is that action is in train to make life easier for greenhorns . |
