527954 2007-02-25 09:25:00 Just going to go a bit off topic here.

Went to harvey norman today and i was looking at the laptops with vista on them and i have to say they are bloody useless half of them only had 512mb of ram on them.

I could see the vista screen savers with bubbles struggling to move smoothly across the screen, I also checked most of the vista base score ratings on five laptops most of them were at 2.2 for the base score, I sore a $4000 laptop with a rating of 4.1 base score.
And all this time i could here the salesmen putting the hard sell on three or four women who clearly were not interested in making a purchase, One guy was telling this women it can do this it can do that it can go very fast yer right on 512mb of ram, And the women was saying the whole time ok ok ok and then walked off and left the building it looked like desperation station for those harvey norman salesman what a load of rubbish they talk when they want to sell something.

527955 2007-03-12 15:13:00 About vista drivers, I just saw this from the PC Mag reporter Bryan Gardiner : "it might be worth mentioning that the site will be a sort of repository of Vista drivers. Although Vista is shipping with thousands of driver updates, those who are upgrading a self-built machine from XP to Vista might find they are missing at least a few component drivers not included with the new OS. So the site should be useful for at least a little while..." The site is at www.radarsync.com edward905 (11927)
