527302 2007-02-23 01:33:00 I have been led to believe "ClearType" tuning (For sharpening-up text on LCD monitors) is/was part of PowerToys for Windows XP, but I can't find it on the latest PowerToys (Dec/Jan. PC World). Can anyone help pse? Trevornchris (11918)
527303 2007-02-23 01:53:00 Don't need Power Toys. Right-click Desktop > Properties > Appearance > Tick "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:" and in drop-down box choose "ClearType".

Click OK all the way out.

527304 2007-02-23 03:34:00 click here (www.microsoft.com)to view information on Microsoft typography page. Apparently they have an online scanner as well.
Or click here (download.microsoft.com)to download the cleartype tuner powertoy setup.exe.
