| 527461 | 2007-02-23 22:20:00 | Hi I recently installed naturally speaking 9 preferred. I am having problem with the new user wizard page. I cant get past the trial saying page. Can someone be kind enough to provide their profile with me I will be grateful. Im using us English at teen vocabulary. I havnt installed other language. Plz help. | polo (6383) | ||
| 527462 | 2007-02-24 03:49:00 | Do you actually have a US accent? If not, this is probably why you can't get past the initial training stages. Try setting it to 'Australian English' - that's the closest to a kiwi accent that NaturallySpeaking can get. I also fine the UK one works well for me. Another thing that could cause problems is the way you are speaking - voice recognition works best when you speak extremely clearly. Note that installing another user's profile won't get you anywhere - voices are unique, so you need to create your own profile from scratch. |

If you have lost your CD, I'm sure Nuance Communications would be happy to provide you with a new disk, although you may have to prove that you own a valid license.
