527361 2007-02-23 05:58:00 i am using rta210 at the moment and i m trying to connect to the net using wireless. I connected the wifi router to rta210, but my com cannot detect the internet connection but it can get into the wifi router configuration. I believe it's the internet connection mode that makes the problem. Can somebody tell me which mode should I use? i normally uses pppoe when i m not using wireless, but i couldn't find pppoe in the option, only pppoa, dhcp, static ip.. thanks hayowazzup (10499)

527363 2007-02-23 07:00:00 I'm also having difficulties in connecting my Dynalink RTA 770 to my Linksys WRT54gx wireless router. I know they are having the same IP address, i.e. 192.168.1.1 and I have tried to change one of the IP address to 192.168.1.2 and have also disabled the NAT (Dynalink) as suggested by Dynalink's helpdesk support. Have tried many different configurations on both the Dynalink and Linksys but to no avail. I am also unable to configure the Linksys router to work with Billion ADSL router, too. However, Dlink's ADSL router 502 and 302 work brilliantly with Linksys wireless - just plug it in and there is goes!

Until today, I still cannot get any (Dynalink and Billion) to work with my Linksys Wireless router. Have googled and yahooed and spent hours on the Internet hoping to find something that works but so far, no luck .... :(

Are you talking about the RTA 210 here? I ask because the 210 has both modes, you just select from the drop down list. IIRC, you need to select ppoe for NZ adsl, you don't have a choice because that is the system used in NZ, unless something has changed since I last used ADSL a few years back (I'm on cable).
