Try C:\Users\(Your Username Here)\AppData\local\Temp\

Although they usually self delete once installed.

1412060 2015-11-28 07:00:00 Thanks, I was hoping to catch it before it does. Driftwood (5551)
1412061 2015-11-28 07:20:00 if you want it to do off line installs you would be 100% safer going to Adobes site and getting the Offline installer.( full package) wainuitech (129)
1412062 2015-11-28 21:23:00 I was actually trying to stop one version from updating, but an update sneaked in & was dying to install itself. Driftwood (5551)

Personally I use Nitro Reader. If wanted : It can be a bit tricky to locate without cnets rubbish. Direct link to the X64 install.nitropdf.com

1412065 2015-12-08 20:49:00 I have ticked the button for no auto updates in the Adobe Reader.
I have disabled Adobe Acrobat updater in services.
Deleted the Adobe file from C:\Users\(Your Username Here)\AppData\local\Temp\

But the updates are still coming in & prompting for installation.

1412066 2015-12-08 22:31:00 it may be an 'upgrade' notification to a new more awefull version and not an 'update'

run msconfig & disable in there
also check in scheduled tasks

Whats the better alternative , Foxit or Sumatra ?
