| 1412043 | 2015-11-27 05:33:00 | Hey i have a ps3 and i have noticed when i plug in the external drive via usb cable , it doesn't show up on screen. I have done format to fat32 and have checked it is properly formatted.When i plugged it in first time it did show up on screen , then second time it didnt not show up , but the third time it did show up because i have done format to fat32 again and so the first step first time was repeated . Please help Thanks |

| 1412044 | 2015-11-27 21:37:00 | connect to your computer delete partition, then format (Partition Type: Primary), (File System: FAT32) Now you need create a folder system identical to that on the Playstation...... Make a new folder and name it "Photo". Do the same for "Music", "Video" and "Game" folders. You should now have 4 folders total in the hard drive. Each folder should be empty. Click the relevant icon on your comp to "safely remove usb drive" and now plug it in to your PS3 Hopefully, it will work now :) |
