| 1405031 | 2015-07-18 04:15:00 | This morning's mini tornado passed through my area, ripped of part of my roof tiles. What an experience! The loud noises when it passed through was quite scary. My house insurer was quite fast in responding to my requests for assistance, the roof maintenance contractor came within half an hour and put up temporary cover on top of my roof. What a weekend! |

| 1405034 | 2015-07-18 05:13:00 | Yeah, the longer it's left the more damages could end up. Thank God, no one injured, no major damages, other than the roof. What a relief when I saw the roof man came! |

| 1405036 | 2015-07-18 06:35:00 | It would appear Insurance Companies are preferred for quick responses than EQC insurance, lost our chimney in the Feb 2011 quake, EQC weren't in a hurry and we had to get son-in-law to cover up the exposure on the roof. Well done your insurance company. lurking. |

| 1405038 | 2015-07-18 20:34:00 | My house insurer was quite fast in responding to my requests for assistance Who are they? In Ranui - as usual, there was no drama. We had some rain, quite heavy in short bursts, tank got filled. Thinking of getting a 2nd one and joining them, as our wee tank only lasts a week....waste of water really when we do get this sort of rain, it overflows....then empty again in a week. No wind, no tornadoes here, didn't find out any of that until we saw the news. We're in a spot that seems to get bypassed, often when Auckland is meant to have rain, we get nothing but a bit of cloud. Can drive up Massey and into rain sometimes, back out and none. Good you got your house sorted quick, mine would disintegrate into a puddle in 5 minutes if it lost the roof - being particle board. |
